Municipal Impact of State General Fund Cuts
Governor Chet Culver signed his 10th Executive Order to institute a
1.5% across-the-board reduction in state general fund expenditures. This

City Budgeting Information
Budget Special Report: The League provides revenue and expenditure projections
in its annual
Budget Special Report. This Special Report also addresses changes to
the law during the past legislative session that may affect a city's budget.
The figures in this report are conservative estimates on what cities can expect
to receive and should be treated as such. Action by the Legislature can also
impact city budgets. If the League becomes aware of changes to these
projections, it will post the information on this site as well as notify cities
in other timely methods.
