The Iowa League of Cities, in conjunction with the Iowa Department of Public Safety and the Commission on Energy Efficiency Standards and Practices, sought information from cities regarding their building and energy codes. The League accomplished this in the form of a survey sent out to all 947 cities; receiving nearly a 50 percent response rate. Results from the survey are available here and were originally printed in the June 2009 issue of Cityscape magazine.
